From my experience it ages beautifully. I installed a piece from william morris peel and stick wallpaper a while back and the detail still looks sharp. Pattern and colour hide small marks and casually scuffed corners. Over time the wallpaper has softened with the light, gained a subtle patina that makes it feel vintage-chic instead of tacky.
